Ideal Candidate:

The perfect candidate will exhibit outstanding customer service abilities, possess cash handling experience, demonstrate reliability, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor. While prior banking experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

The Universal Banker role is structured in three tiers, with each level encompassing additional responsibilities and higher compensation based on knowledge, skills, and job performance.

  • Universal Banker I: Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, cashier's checks, night deposits, commercial change orders, and other routine requests.
  • Universal Banker II: Takes on all responsibilities of Universal Banker I, plus additional tasks such as forecasting branch cash requirements, managing cash orders and shipments, balancing the coin machine, overseeing ATM replenishment, performing basic new account functions, processing wire transfers, conducting drawer audits, and assisting in training new staff.
  • Universal Banker III: Encompasses all duties of Universal Banker I and II, with advanced responsibilities including new account management, opening and closing various account types, identifying fraudulent activities, maintaining accounts, and managing safe deposit boxes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in cash handling.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and numerical skills, along with a positive and professional attitude.
