Ideal Candidate:

The perfect candidate for this role will demonstrate outstanding customer service abilities, possess cash handling experience, exhibit reliability, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor. While prior banking experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

The Universal Banker role is structured into three tiers, with higher levels assuming additional responsibilities and receiving increased compensation. The appropriate level for the Universal Banker will be determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and specific job duties.

  • Universal Banker I: Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, cashier's checks, night deposits, commercial change orders, and other routine requests.
  • Universal Banker II: In addition to the responsibilities of Universal Banker I, this level includes forecasting branch cash requirements, managing cash orders and shipments, balancing the coin machine, overseeing ATM replenishment, performing basic new account functions, processing wire transfers, conducting drawer audits, and assisting in training new staff.
  • Universal Banker III: This level encompasses all responsibilities of Universal Banker I and II, along with advanced new account functions such as opening and closing checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, business accounts, safe deposit boxes, debit cards, fraud detection, and account maintenance.
