Key Responsibilities:

The Universal Banker role is categorized into three tiers, with each level encompassing additional responsibilities and corresponding compensation. The classification of the Universal Banker is based on the individual's knowledge, skills, abilities, and job functions.

  • Universal Banker I: Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, cashier's checks, night deposits, and commercial change orders.
  • Universal Banker II: Takes on the responsibilities of Universal Banker I, along with managing branch cash forecasts, cash orders and shipments, balancing coin machines, overseeing ATM replenishment, performing basic new account functions, processing wire transfers, conducting drawer audits, and assisting in training new staff.
  • Universal Banker III: In addition to the duties of Universal Banker I & II, this level includes advanced new account functions such as opening and closing checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, business accounts, safe deposit boxes, debit cards, fraud detection, and account maintenance.
