Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is a key member of the Park Lane team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that all rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all guests receive a high level of service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including front desk, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure that all guest requests are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; ability to motivate and train staff.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The Housekeeping Manager must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. A valid driver's license is not required for this role.
