Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets, to meet the needs of residents.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and handling procedures.
- Manage food production, including receiving, rotating, and inventorying products, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to develop and implement menus, production sheets, and other kitchen operations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of food production, including temperatures, quantities, and quality control measures.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary techniques and food safety protocols.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
- One year of job-related experience in food preparation, including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
- Current SERV Safe certificate or ability to participate in food services sanitation training to become SERV Safe Certified.
