Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician/Inspector to join our team at Firetrol Protection Systems. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician/Inspector, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire alarm codes and regulations.
  • Work closely with customers, technicians, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate inspection and maintenance schedules.
  • Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing, as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections.
  • Properly document all inspections, tests, and repairs in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Provide detailed reports and recommend corrective actions to the customer.
  • Provide small repair quotes to customers as needed.
Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience, training, or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming, and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
  • Must be willing to obtain any necessary licenses for the State of Georgia.
  • Experience or training with multiple life safety systems.
  • Experience with pricing service repairs preferred.
