Job Overview

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm System Sales Representative to expand our team. As a leading provider of fire protection and life safety services, we prioritize the safety of our clients and communities.

This role involves selling new construction, retro-fit, and tenant improvement fire alarm systems in the local market. Key responsibilities include prospecting and developing new customers, up-selling additional services, negotiating pricing for fire alarm contract sales, and maintaining existing accounts through regular customer contact. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special product demonstrations and events to increase sales and enhance our company's reputation.

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, particularly in a business-to-business setting, and a strong knowledge of the fire alarm industry in the local region. Experience with service and inspection sales is a plus. You should also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience, including presenting to potential clients and negotiating in direct sales opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of the fire alarm industry, specifically in the local region.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Proven track record in bid market sales in the local area.
  • Ability to satisfy all necessary background check requirements.
  • Knowledge of security and nurse call systems is a plus.
