We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Archetype Permanent Solutions. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and maintaining fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Install and program fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
- Respond to after-hours or emergency service calls as needed.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 2 years experience installing and programming fire alarm systems.
- Experience programming systems in commercial buildings.
- Minimum of NICET II certification.
- Experience with Honeywell NOTIFIER a plus.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards is a plus.
- Ability to work at heights and lift equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
