Job Title: Director of Corporate Administration

Midwestern Pet Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Corporate Administration to join our team in Evansville, IN. As the Director of Corporate Administration, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and support to our HR functions, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR staff and management on HR-related matters.
  • Administer HR policies and programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave.
  • Conduct investigations and take corrective action as needed.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Onboard new employees and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Assist in the management and administration of company benefit programs.
Requirements:
  • HR Generalist with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing operation preferred.
  • Experience conducting complex investigations and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Experience planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
  • Employee relations experience (corrective action, investigations, employee interviews, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment laws.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • PHR Certification preferred, but not required.
