Key Responsibilities


The Senior Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and medical history.
  • Identify patient and family needs, providing education and resources.
  • Offer psychosocial support to patients and their families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations and ensure quality patient care.
  • Manage medication refill requests and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Coordinate consultations, diagnostic tests, and referrals.
  • Document patient interactions and triage calls as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist patients in accessing community resources.
  • Provide guidance to LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • A valid RN state license and current registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience.

Physical Requirements


The position requires a full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients, as well as prolonged periods of standing and walking. The ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs is necessary, along with corrected vision and hearing.
