Job Overview:

The Cancer Registry Division is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of educational and training initiatives, as well as data auditing protocols aimed at ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and high standards of data collection. This role is vital to the management team overseeing statewide cancer case documentation from various sources, including healthcare facilities and laboratories.

The Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for creating educational materials to facilitate electronic reporting and processing systems. This position will eventually lead a team of oncology data specialists tasked with various educational, training, and auditing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for data management.
  • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance data reporting processes.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of data specialists.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in data management applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records and data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday; standard business hours.
