Job Summary:

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineering Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to develop knowledge about the business through exposure to a functional area, such as manufacturing, engineering, and lean principles. You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by assisting employees with day-to-day job assignments and may be assigned to additional training or project work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate effectively with senior technical staff and all functional groups to achieve product performance and cost targets.
- Develop software requirements and software design. Implement code, test and debug.
- Develop test procedures and test scripts to validate software.
- Perform design analysis and participate in work product peer reviews.
- Support other software activities (e.g. software tool).

Requirements:

- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering (or related).
- Must provide GPA, minimum accepted 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and use effective English communication in presentations, analyses, and reports.
- Must be self-directed/motivated and possess effective interpersonal skills in a team environment.
- Must be project-oriented and be able to multi-task.
- Should have some experience programming or testing software. Knowledge of C or C++ programming language is a plus.
- Ability to fulfill a one quarter or semester internship commitment, 40 hours per week.

- Salary range: $24.00 to 27.50.
