Position Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in our Radiology Team. Under the administrative direction of our Director/Manager/Team Lead and the clinical direction of our Radiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Assaying and administering radiopharmaceuticals for patient administration and performing quality control procedures.
  • Positioning yourself to cross-train in PET/CT based on departmental staffing needs.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

As a cross-trained employee in multiple modalities, you will be responsible for all aspects of the job descriptions in each separate modality. It is essential to maintain competencies in each modality at adequate levels of performance and document necessary certification renewals on a yearly basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Registered or Certified and licensed to practice in the State of Vermont via NMTCB or ARRT.
  • A minimum of an A.S. degree, with a B.S. degree preferred.

Schedule:

The core scheduled hours for this position are 7:30am-12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Seven additional hours will be scheduled every week, with flexibility to set a regular schedule based on candidate availability and department needs. No weekends or call are required.

Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Eligible:

  • External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus based on experience, ranging from $6,000 to $15,000, paid out over a few installments.
  • Relocation Assistance is available for candidates joining us from a distance greater than 50 miles from their previous role and home, up to $9,200.
