We are a community-driven healthcare organization seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology Team. At UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center, we pride ourselves on our commitment to teamwork and patient care.

Position Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work under the administrative direction of the Director/Operations Supervisor and the clinical direction of the Radiologist/Team Leader. This role will independently perform the majority of exams with minimal supervision, assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

A satisfactory completion of formal Medical Radiography training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. Employees who are cross-trained in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality are responsible for all aspects of the job descriptions in each separate modality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A high school graduate or equivalent and Vermont State License to practice Medical Radiography are required.

Shifts/Hours

The shift is 2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends for an on-call rotation only. We are open to new graduates who are seeking their first career opportunity.
