Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary: As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Froedtert Health, you will prepare patients, perform imaging procedures, and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers. You will adhere to organizational customer service standards and support excellence initiatives. Additionally, you will provide positive interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff, and perform ancillary services as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for imaging procedures
Perform imaging procedures according to specific guidelines and protocols
Operate imaging equipment
Adhere to radiation protection measures
Provide positive interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff
Perform ancillary services as necessary
Requirements:
One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred
Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required
ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required
Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 months of hire/transfer is required
