Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Housing and Community Safety department as a temporary Anti-Social Behaviour Officer. This role will involve working with internal and external partners to deal with cases of Anti-Social Behaviour, including victims, witnesses, and perpetrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with cases of Anti-Social Behaviour, working alongside internal and external partners.
  • Investigate and gather evidence, taking statements as necessary.
  • Carry out enforcement activities, including issuing warnings and notices, and progressing prosecutions to court.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of Anti-Social Behaviour and its effects on victims and communities.
  • Good standard of literacy and computer/typing skills to enable accurate record-keeping and report-writing.
  • Strong communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and written correspondence.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a workload, recognising and understanding risks of harm.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of enforcement and/or conflict resolution.
  • Current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
