Job Title: Business Development Specialist
About Our Company: Allstate Insurance Agency - Burak Kaya is dedicated to providing top-notch insurance solutions and fostering long-term partnerships with our clients.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist to drive growth and expansion of our personal lines business. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and collaborating with our team to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and capitalize on personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients through various channels, including in-person, online, phone, and written communication.
Maintain and strengthen client relationships by providing exceptional service, staying informed about client needs, and ensuring timely and accurate quotations and account support.
Develop and implement strategies to increase client coverage, solicit referrals, and leverage networking opportunities to expand our client base.
Support clients through the renewal process, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining strong relationships.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to inform sales strategies, document sales activities, and collaborate with colleagues to drive business growth.
Participate in internal meetings, contribute to knowledge sharing, and assist in mentoring junior staff members as needed.
Requirements:
Secure Personal Lines licenses within 60 days of hire if not currently licensed in Connecticut.
Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, procedures, and industry practices to excel in securing new business and retaining existing clients.
Demonstrate a proven track record of sales success in a business-to-business setting, showcasing strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Embody a customer-centric approach, foster excellent relationships, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Showcase exceptional organizational abilities, strong business acumen, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Possess strong time management skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and possess proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management tools.
Bilingualism in Polish or Spanish is highly valued but not mandatory.
