Role Summary

As a Veterinary Technician at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital - Los Angeles, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of experienced veterinarians. Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring high-quality patient care and advocating for pets and their owners.
  • Assist with surgeries, procedures, and medical records management, adhering to state Veterinary Practice Act guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, utilizing practice systems for support.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, ensuring medical charts are up-to-date.
  • Employ safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Be a supportive team member, guiding, mentoring, and collaborating with colleagues.
