About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Emergency and Critical Care. As an ER/CC technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Triage incoming patients and manage clients throughout their visit
  • Partner with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
  • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • Work collaboratively with on-call boarded surgeons and on-call technicians for emergency surgical cases
Schedule
  • Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs
  • 7p – 7a
  • Rotating Weekends
Compensation
  • $21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
  • Even higher for VTS
About You

We are looking for a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. You should be a diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital. You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):

  • Venipuncture
  • Placing IV Catheters
  • Drug Calculations
  • Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
  • Taking Vitals
  • Gathering Medical History
