About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Emergency and Critical Care. As an ER/CC Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage incoming patients and manage clients throughout their visit
  • Partner with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
  • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • No need to fret over emergency surgical cases, we have on-call boarded surgeons and on-call technicians for the overnights
Work Schedule:

Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs. 7p - 7a, rotating weekends.

Compensation:

$21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling. Even higher for VTS.

About You:

You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.

You're not afraid to jump in and get your feet wet. A diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, you will help get all the day's duties done. You are eager to continue enhancing your skill set and enjoy learning & collaborating with a team.

You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician, including (but not limited to): venipuncture, placing IV catheters, drug calculations, administration of medications (IV or other methods), taking vitals, gathering medical history.
