About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Cardiology Team at Mass Vet Referral Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for obtaining patient histories, drawing and submitting laboratory samples, assisting with diagnostic imaging, participating in procedures specific to the department, and providing client education.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
  • Draw and submit laboratory samples for analysis
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms and electrocardiograms
  • Participate in procedures specific to the cardiology department, such as pacemaker implantations and cardioversions
  • Provide client education on cardiology-related topics
Requirements:
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
