About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Emergency and Critical Care. As an ER/CC Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage incoming patients and manage clients throughout their visit
  • Partner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
  • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • No need to fret over emergency surgical cases, we have on-call boarded surgeons and on-call technicians for the overnights
Schedule:

Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs

Compensation:

$21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling, even higher for VTS

About You:

We are looking for a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician, including (but not limited to): venipuncture, placing IV catheters, drug calculations, administration of medications, taking vitals, and gathering medical history.
