Responsibilities

  • Monitor routine vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels
  • Administer medications, perform dressing changes, and maintain accurate documentation of patient care
  • Promptly identify and address any changes in patient condition
  • Provide clear and thorough explanations of test results and procedures to patients and their families
  • Educate patients on post-hospital care, including medication management and preventive measures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
  • Current BLS certification with skills demonstration

Minimum Experience:
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated proficiency in RN performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
