Overview
As a Telemetry Nurse at CHI Saint Joseph Health, you will utilize your nursing expertise to meticulously observe your patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, oxygen levels, heart rhythms, and respiratory rates.
Your role will also involve reassuring patients and their families by clearly communicating test outcomes and aiding them in making informed healthcare choices.
Each day, you will be an essential part of our nursing team, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to monitor patients who require ongoing cardiac surveillance.
Building trust through these interactions is key, as you will learn and apply new concepts in real-time to deliver effective solutions for patients.

- Monitor routine heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels.
- Promptly report and address any changes in patient conditions.
- Clearly and patiently explain test results and procedures to patients and their families.
- Educate patients on post-hospital care, including medication management, care maintenance, and preventive measures.
Required Skills:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma.
- A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an Acute Care environment is preferred.
