About the Role

This position reports to the Manufacturing Unit Manager. Your role and responsibilities will involve deploying and leading the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and lead improvement programs and projects within your area of responsibility, with a hands-on and problem-solving approach.
  • Lead a systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement within the local organization.
  • Provide guidance and support towards disseminating a continuous improvement mindset and culture at all levels, activities, and functions to promote behavioral change for continuous performance improvement at the local level.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in engineering, operations, business, or other related field with at least two years of work experience.
  • Ability to work in a production environment managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, including plant leadership, front-line leadership, and employees.
  • Expertise in continuous improvement, LEAN, Six Sigma methodologies highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key deliverables while focused on prioritizing business needs.
