Position Overview

Wound Care Medical Assistant

Ideal Candidate:

We seek Medical Assistants who are passionate about making a positive impact in skin and wound care and are prepared to travel to patients' residences while collaborating with our healthcare providers remotely.

Key Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Independently traveling to private residences, adult family homes, and independent living facilities.
  • Employing Ultramist technology for painless debridement procedures.
  • Administering and changing medications and dressings.
  • Participating in regular team meetings for ongoing training, team cohesion, and leadership enhancement.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; must be licensed in Washington State.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations daily.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering compassionate patient care.
  • Experience with telehealth services is preferred.
  • This dynamic role requires prolonged periods of standing.
  • Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
  • Proficient in computer applications; intermediate knowledge of MS Suite: Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities and works effectively within a team of healthcare professionals and partner facilities.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable, with the ability to manage appointments independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management abilities.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals through verbal and written means.
  • Demonstrates trustworthiness, honesty, and maintains a positive and professional demeanor.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour – based on experience.

Territory: South Puget Sound.

Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt; Full-Time position.

Working Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday; daytime shifts, no nights or weekends.
