Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of an Educational Support Specialist is to aid the lead instructor during Snapology sessions.

Educational Support Specialists are encouraged to foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills while guiding students through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) principles.

Programs are tailored for elementary-aged children during afterschool hours. Additional opportunities may be available during the summer camp season.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist groups of up to 20 students in curriculum-focused activities

Oversee students' use of educational materials and tools

Encourage positive behavior in the classroom by reinforcing established rules and procedures

Engage in regular Snapology training and staff meetings as necessary

Qualifications:
Must be able to pass both Criminal and Child Safety Clearances

Availability on weekdays from 2:30 - 5:00pm or 3:30 - 6:00pm

Experience with children in educational or recreational settings is preferred but not mandatory

Strong communication skills

Demonstrated reliability and punctuality

Programs Offered:
Weekday after-school and/or evening classes

Weekend workshops and/or special events

Summer camps

Holiday and break workshops

This is a part-time role. Depending on the candidate's availability and seasonal demands, Educational Support Specialists typically work between 5-30 hours per week.

This franchise operates independently and is managed by a franchisee.
