Job Summary

The Intake Coordinator position is a critical role within the Housing Assistance Corporation, responsible for ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support. This position requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage client requests for housing assistance and information, evaluating service needs and making referrals to appropriate programs.
  • Provide initial information about housing programs and referral services to clients, ensuring that customer service practices are aligned with company values.
  • Collect and enter client data into appropriate software systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Review financial assistance requests for completeness, ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of housing programs and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with high-risk clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use new software systems.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with regular breaks and a 30-minute lunch period. The Information and Client Services Manager will provide supervision and support as needed.
