Job Summary:

As a skilled RN Emergency Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will be responsible for coordinating care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care in a safe and healing environment.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • 9 months of RN experience or completion of the Adventist Health RN residency program required.
  • RN experience working in an ED/ER preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Oregon required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
