About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a full-time nurse on our evening shift, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Current National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
