Nursing Department Coordinator RN Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating the general operation of the Department of Nursing and providing administrative coverage for our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Provide administrative coverage for the medical center, including responding to emergencies and providing support to nursing staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and nursing operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care services.
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse or in a leadership role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Current National Certification in med-surg or related nursing area.
