We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Department at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Charge RN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical unit, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care and a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire.
- 1 year nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
