Job Summary:

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall financial success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Close Process Management: Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, reconciling discrepancies as needed to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and optimize financial reporting procedures, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Tax Compliance: Handle tax-related matters and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Internal Controls and Audits: Participate in audits and assist in implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with accounting principles, standards, and best practices to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting regulations, proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to convey financial information clearly.
