Key Responsibilities:
Guidehouse presents a unique opportunity within our Defense and Security Segment, focusing on the Department of the Air Force's essential financial accounting and entitlement systems.
The Task Lead will oversee initiatives at the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC).This role involves managing teams and coordinating comprehensive support within the AFAOC, including offering technical guidance to government personnel.
The individual will frequently engage with senior government officials and staff, participating in a variety of program-specific tasks linked to the Department's financial accounting and entitlement systems.
Candidates should have a robust background in program management, technical expertise, and adaptability to support diverse work products and deliverables.
Qualifications:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearanceBachelor's Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of project management experienceTEN (10) or more years of experience in leading and providing technical direction to complex engagements within the DoD or Federal GovernmentProficiency in DoD financial management policies, processes, and proceduresExperience in leading and developing diverse teams serving a DoD or Federal Government client
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in Air Force financial management policies, processes, and procedures, particularly with the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) applicationFamiliarity with DoD and Air Force financial management systems, processes, and proceduresUnderstanding of DoD legacy financial management systems and processesKnowledge of Federal and Defense financial audit processesCertified Scrum Master (CSM)
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional customer service capabilitiesStrong time-management and prioritization skillsAbility to convey relevant technical subject matter expertise to management and othersAbility to travel (up to 25%)
