Role Overview :


Guidehouse presents an exceptional opportunity within our Defense and Security Segment, aimed at enhancing the Department of the Air Force's essential financial accounting and entitlement framework.

The task lead will take charge of initiatives at the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC).

This role encompasses leading teams and overseeing the comprehensive management and coordination of all assistance within the AFAOC, including offering technical guidance to government personnel.


The individual will frequently engage with senior government officials and staff, participating in a diverse array of program-specific activities related to the Department's financial accounting and entitlement framework.

Candidates should demonstrate experience across various program management duties, technical expertise, and a readiness to adapt in supporting multiple work products and deliverables.


Essential Qualifications :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance

A Bachelor's Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of project management experience

A minimum of TEN (10) years of experience in leading and providing technical guidance for complex projects within the DoD or Federal Government

Proficiency in DoD financial management policies, processes, and procedures

Experience in leading and developing diverse teams delivering to a DoD or Federal Government client

Preferred Qualifications :
Expertise in Air Force financial management policies, processes, and procedures, particularly in utilizing the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) application

Familiarity with DoD and Air Force financial management systems, processes, and procedures

Knowledge of DoD legacy financial management systems and processes

Understanding of Federal and Defense financial audit processes

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Ability to work independently

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional customer service capabilities

Effective time-management and prioritization skills

Ability to convey relevant technical subject matter expertise to management and others

Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
