Job OverviewMorton Buildings is seeking a motivated and self-driven individual to join our sales team as a Business Development Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating new customers and developing relationships with long-standing customers in assigned territories. Our Sales Consultants work in a team environment that strives to deliver unparalleled quality and superior warranties to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to succeed, excellent communication skills, and the ability to integrate various technologies into their daily activities. They must also maintain a willingness to learn and adapt to the constant change of the construction industry and customer needs.
Responsibilities- Cultivate new customers and develop relationships with existing ones in assigned territories
- Work collaboratively with MBI personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Manage sales funnels, coordinate permitting requirements, and navigate regulatory compliance
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience or 5 years of construction management experience
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, construction, or project management
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
