Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-Time Intern Pharmacist to assist our Pharmacy Operations team with daily workflow responsibilities. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to expand your pharmacy background and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with patient counseling and prescriber outreach, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Manage prescription transfers and use multiple computer systems to enter prescriptions, obtain pharmacy orders, and produce labels.
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist in the practice of pharmacy, adhering to state, federal, and company policies.
  • Translate prescriptions and enter information into patient profiles, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Master our internal systems, developing a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and managing internal and external communications.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in Pharmacy School at an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3+ months of experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-volume or specialty setting.
  • Proficient in computers and Windows PC applications, with the ability to navigate and learn new systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Availability to work within operating hours.
