Job Summary

The Further Processing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of production associates to achieve required production and quality standards in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. This role promotes and maintains positive working relationships within the production group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train, develop, and direct team members to meet operating, safety, and quality requirements within the department and/or area.
  • Supervise production staff to ensure product quality and integrity and ensure all finished product meets or exceeds customer requirements.
  • Consistently administer Company policies and procedures to create a positive work environment conducive to retaining associates.
  • Support and promote the Company's annual goals through effective and efficient planning, communication, and coaching, training, and overall direction of the workforce.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or related discipline preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of leadership experience ideally within an animal protein or agricultural manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to create and build a positive work environment within a diverse team.
