Job Overview

Your role will involve troubleshooting intricate technical challenges and ensuring the successful execution of planned initiatives within the organization. You will craft and deploy tailored solutions that address the dynamic requirements of both internal and external stakeholders. By actively listening to client needs, you will identify key issues and implement the most effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance for the daily operations and upkeep of server, storage, and networking systems, including security devices, cabling, and site facilities.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, including scheduled installations and upgrades of server hardware, software, storage, and networking solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to company security protocols, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate resources within service-level agreements.
  • Document progress on all task orders in the ticketing system and provide real-time updates to clients.
  • Perform troubleshooting and installations during after-hours and weekend maintenance windows as necessary.
  • Coordinate efforts among internal teams and external vendors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Manage the VMware vSphere technical lab environment, addressing host vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance of all virtual machines with established standards.
  • Package, deploy, and troubleshoot software updates using Microsoft SCCM.
  • Complete required computer-based training as assigned.
  • May be required to be available for on-call duties at scheduled intervals.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities to extend existing agreements.
  • Communicate potential sales leads.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Digital dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues via phone or in person.
  • Physical capability to move between different office locations.

Work Environment:
Work is primarily conducted in a remote office setting.

Travel to client sites may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required.

A robust technical background is essential.

3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.

Technology & Skills Required:

  • CompTIA A+ and Server+ Certifications are mandatory.
  • HP & Dell Server Certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HP & Dell Server hardware, including blade servers and rack configurations.
  • In-depth understanding of server utilities for configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting hardware.
  • Basic familiarity with HP Storage Works products (e.g., HP MSA & MSL).
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft products and hardware clustering.
  • Capability to design and implement technology solutions for new and existing products/applications.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple projects from initiation to completion.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
