Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic for Outdoor Equipment Repair to join our team at Remote Mechanic Jobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, and snow blowers.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical issues in small engine-powered equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, chainsaws, snow blowers).
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, air filter replacements, spark plug inspections, and carburettor cleanings.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, spark plugs, and fuel systems.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance recommendations.
  • Document service work performed and ensure accurate records are kept for each job.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of small engine mechanics.
  • 1+ years of experience working with small engines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot engine issues.
