Heavy Equipment Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Apprentice To Mid-Level Mechanic to join our team in Alaska. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine services on heavy equipment
  • Make repair recommendations based on routine maintenance
  • Order parts or travel locally to obtain necessary components for repairs
  • Perform minor to mid-level repairs on machines
  • Utilize IPAD and computers to service and repair equipment

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience or exposure to vehicles, equipment, or repair experience in previous roles
  • A set of mechanic's tools or a willingness to acquire tools prior to starting the job
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete each task assigned thoroughly
