Radiologic Technologist

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures in a hospital or outpatient-based facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and perform procedures by positioning patients, preparing contrast media, and selecting the correct exposure factors.
- Ensure optimal technical quality and accuracy of all mammographic examinations according to MQSA, ACR, and FDA quality control requirements.
- Accurately input data into the RIS by tracking procedure performed and transferring correctly annotated images into PACS.
- Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
- Obtain all relevant patient information, assess physician's order and/or requisition for completeness, and educate patients in hereditary cancer risk assessment testing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
- CT State Radiographer's License required.
- ARRT (R) & ARRT (M) certification.
- Current X-Ray experience required, with Mammography experience preferred.
- Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures highly preferred.
