Job Title: Restoration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at BluSky. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a critical role in responding to emergencies and restoring the lives of our customers.

Job Summary:

The Restoration Technician is responsible for mitigating damage in residential and commercial structures, including water extraction, fire and smoke cleaning, microbial remediation, and vandalism clean-up. You will work closely with our team to provide the highest level of customer service with empathy and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Water extraction and mitigation
  • Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
  • Microbial remediation
  • Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
  • Demolition
  • Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
  • Provide the highest level of customer service with empathy
Qualifications:
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
  • 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred

Travel:

Occasional travel. (Less than 25% of the time.) Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.

Compensation:

BluSky offers a competitive base pay between $15 - $25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes: a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, paid holidays, disability, equipment appropriate to the position (i.e., laptop, smartphone, etc.), and corporate apparel allowance.
