Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Service Ambassador to join our team at Medical Facilities of America. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet visitors by name, learning about their needs and preferences.
  • Answer phones with a cheerful and warm greeting, responding to inquiries and directing calls as needed.
  • Make collection calls to proactively prevent accounts from becoming delinquent, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with daily candidate interview schedules, greeting incoming candidates and routing them to the appropriate person for interview or the Director of Human Resources.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Accept and handle payments at the desk, following established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the center's Patient Fund Petty Cash box, ensuring accurate and secure management of funds.
  • Prepare, copy, and mail administrative correspondence, including letters and reports.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain business office filing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Follow emergency protocol, responding promptly and effectively in crisis situations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all residents' records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Report all instances of abuse or neglect or other concerns to management, ensuring prompt and effective action.
  • Attend and participate in orientation, training, and in-service education, and staff meetings, staying up-to-date on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure all mandatory training is completed on time, meeting regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Perform other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the center, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate, comprehend, understand, and write messages, and follow directions, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of business office machines and computer skills, with proficiency in word processing software.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Confidence when interacting with a variety of people, including patients, visitors, and staff members.
