Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Water Restoration Specialist to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore 2775 - Metairie. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and completing tasks related to water restoration jobs. This includes ensuring the drying process is completed efficiently, preparing documentation, and explaining the process to customers. You will also be responsible for retrieving work orders, checking routes, loading equipment, and arriving at work sites on time. Additionally, you will perform water damage repair, including extraction, pack-out of contents, removal/disposal of non-salvageable materials, light construction, and demolition as directed by your supervisor. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize activities will ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and effectively.

To succeed in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, and good communication skills. Experience in the restoration or construction industry is preferred but not required. If you have certifications such as WTR Water Damage Restoration Technician or ASD Applied Structural Drying Technician, it will be considered an asset.

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching. You must also be able to express and exchange ideas quickly and receive detailed information given. For safety reasons, you will need to wear respirators when required, which must seal to your face. You will be exposed to various working conditions, both inside and outside, including changing environments with or without air conditioning and heating.
