Dishwasher - Cleanliness Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dishwasher - Cleanliness Specialist to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen, ensuring that our guests enjoy a safe and healthy dining experience.

• Cleaning and Sanitation: Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils, and place them in racks to be washed in the dish machine.
• Washing Utensils: Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, and ensure they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Trash Removal: Remove trash and garbage from the kitchen and dispose of it in the designated areas.
• Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down the dishwashing area as needed, including cleaning and rolling/unrolling mats.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with general restaurant and restroom cleaning, wipe up spills, and notify management of any issues with the dish machine.

• Customer Focus: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and management regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.
• Time Management: Manage time efficiently to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
• Physical Demands: Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.

This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where employees may be exposed to hot water, humidity, slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals.
