ServiceMaster Restore 2775 - Metairie is seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Professional to join our team as a Restoration Specialist. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for restoring homes and businesses affected by water damage. Your primary duties will include monitoring and completing tasks for water restoration jobs, preparing and reviewing documentation for reimbursement from insurance companies, and explaining processes used to complete active jobs to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and complete tasks for water restoration jobs, including drying, demolition, and various restoration activities.
- Prepare and review documentation to include notes, photos, and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
- Explain processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Experience in the restoration or construction industry preferred but not necessary.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Good customer service skills required.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
