Storage Administrator

CompuCom Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Storage Administrator to monitor, configure, and provide first-line support for Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor work pipelines in ServiceNow and respond to incoming incidents, requests, and change tasks.
  • Manage workloads and ensure defined metrics are met daily.
  • Monitor hardware and hosted operating system performance, firmware versions, and security compliance.
  • Deploy OS and firmware patches according to organizational change enablement standards.
  • Perform volume and share creation, expansion, deletion, replication, migration, and access control management tasks.
  • Resolve reported incidents and participate in troubleshooting calls with the incident management team and client technical groups.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a related field.
  • Storage certifications in EMC, NetApp products, or other relevant storage technology.
  • Understanding of storage clustering concepts and access lists functionality for DFS, Windows, and Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of cloud storage technologies.
  • Proficiency in storage hardware, software, and/or Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • ServiceNow functionality and usability.
