Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Financial Manager to join our team at 3C Industries, Inc. in the construction industry. This role is critical in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including job accounting duties, subcontractor management, and project insurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Progress Invoicing: Prepare and submit progress invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor agreements, including reviewing and processing subcontractor invoices. Monitor compliance with contract terms and project requirements.
  • Project Insurance: Ensure all project insurance requirements are met, including tracking certificates of insurance and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Project Administration: Coordinate and manage employee access to project sites, including scheduling drug tests, securing badges, and arranging orientations. Maintain records related to employee certifications and project-specific requirements.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP): Assist with AR and AP processes as needed, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports related to project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project costs and work with project managers to ensure financial performance aligns with budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction accounting software and practices, particularly Sage 100 Contractor and CMIC.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
