Role Responsibilities:
The Advanced Practice Provider is accountable for delivering medical services to patients, ensuring adherence to state licensing regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough physical assessments of patients based on professional training and expertise;
- Performing comprehensive physical examinations for patients undergoing medication maintenance;
- Monitoring compliance with physician medication orders and collaborating with supervising physicians for referrals;
- Evaluating patient care and modifying treatment plans based on diagnostic results and patient feedback;
- Providing education to patients and staff regarding medication maintenance protocols;
- Ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policies;
- Executing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settings is preferred.
- Must have no history of substance misuse for at least three years prior to employment.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must hold a valid license in the state of practice.
- DEA certification is required.
Compensation:
$80.00 - $85.00 per hour
